APRA HARBOR, Guam (July 22, 2017) – Thomas Dorman of Canyon Lake, Texas, reaches to looks through the periscope of Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Topeka (SSN 754), during a tour with his grandfather, who is a retired Guam submariner. Topeka is assigned to Commander, Submarine Squadron 15, and is one of four Los Angeles-class attack submarines homeported and maintained in Guam as part of the Navy's forward-deployed submarine force, readily capable of meeting global operational requirements.
