Oxford, England - 21 July 2020; no people in view; Exeter is one of the oldest colleges of Oxford University. Conveniently located on Turl Street, just round the corner from the Bodleian Library, it was founded in 1314 by the Bishop of Exeter as a school to educate clergymen. Like all the Oxford Colleges, it has its very own quirky and imaginative family of gargoyles; these range from humorous or cheeky to heraldic, biblical, scary or just plain weird. And here is a particularly leery specimen.
