The Welsh National War Memorial is located in Alexandra Gardens, Cathays Park, Cardiff. The memorial commemorates the servicemen who died during the First World War and had a commemorative plaque added in 1949 for those who died during the Second World War. The memorial was unveiled in1928 by the Prince of Wales.
