Shinto is the native religion of Japan. The bride at a shinto wedding will wear a Tsuno Kakushi or a hood. It is meant to hide Tsuno or horns to show obedience. This is over her hair which is done in a traditional style and decorated with ornaments. The bride also wears a Uchikake gown which is worn over the colorful wedding kimono.
