The Chestnut-capped Babbler (Timalia pileata) is a passerine bird of the Timaliidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Timalia. This bird is native in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam.
