MAYPORT, Fla. (Nov. 10, 2016) – Brazilian Niteroi-class Training Frigate Brasil (U 27) Commanding Officer Capt. Jose Canela, center, shows Commander, Naval Forces Southern 4th Fleet, Rear Adm. Sean Buck, left, and his wife Joanne Buck, right, the route the Brasil has taken during the midshipmen training cruise (MTC) during a reception held onboard the Brasil. The Brasil is conducting a port visit to Naval Station Mayport as part of an MTC of nearly five months. Upon completion of the MTC, nearly 200 midshipmen will be commissioned as ensigns in the Brazilian navy.
