Gustav Weindorfer's pioneering Waldheim Chalet has been rebuilt at Cradle Mountain, Tasmania


The original chalet was built in the 1920s by pioneer conservationist Gustav Weindorfer, an Austrian immigrant who paved the way for the eventual establishment of the Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park.
