Clarence Hall Epplesheimer, Jr., enlisted September 12,1918, in the 4th Observation Battery-Field Artillery. He was inthe officers training camp at Camp Zachary Taylor, Kentucky,but when the armistice was signed he was more anxious to gethome than he was to get a commission, so obtained his dischargeNovember 21, 1918. 165
