SAN DIEGO – Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) inspection team conducted a tri-annual Dry Dock Certification Audit of Naval Base San Diego’s (NBSD) Graving Dock 1. NAVFAC, EXWC CI7 Division Director, John Wutzer stands on the 74 year old floor of the Graving Dock, completed in 1942. The median age of the all Navy owned dry docks is 97 years.
