Proboscis fully developecl; palpi upturned to just above vertex of head ; anteuute bipeetinate, will\ short branches dilated at extremity ; fore tibite of male with a tuft of long hair contained in a fold ; mid and hind tibins with the spurs moderate ; abdomen dors-iUy clothed with rough hair at base. Fore wing with vein 3 from near angle of cell; 4, 5 from angle ; (1 from npper angle ; 7, 8, 9 stalked ; 10, 11 from cell. Hind wing with the cell long, the lower angle much produced, the discoeellulars highly angled and with a veinlet in cell ; vein 2 from long before angle ; 3, 4 on a long stalk ; 5 from far above angle of cell; 6, 7 from upper angle or very shortly stalked ; 8 often present as an aborted portion not reaching costa ; the basal part of costa lobed.
