Steam locomotive 53809 letting off steam at Pickering Raiway station during the Pickering Wartime Weekend event in October 2009. During this annual event many 100's perhaps 1000's of individuals dress up in 1940's uniforms and fashions. The event is also attended by genuine forces veterans in commemoration of those who served in wartime.
