(series 475) the vertebral bodies and intervertebral disks are well defined. (See Fig. 5). The notochordal flexures are well marked in the dorsal region, but are much less well marked in the lum- bar region. This is the reverse of the difference l)etwcen the two regions in the rabbit. At mm. (series 400) the ventrad curves in the vertebra are 1)0W- shaped, wliile the intervertebral summits of tbe curves are somewhat.
