Raised band beneath the lip ornamented with a finelyincised scroll-fret and bosses, and interrupted by three sheeps-heads in relief, two on one side and one on the other. Similarband on the foot with lineaments of tlie tao tleh ogre. Rarel}-beautiful, rich, lustrous, malachite an-ugo, enhancing tiie steel-gray, iron-rust and mottled-mahogany patina of lesser depth,which, with various incrustations, coats both exterior and interiorof the vessel.
