The buddha is surrounded by two yogin or bodhisattvas sitting on double lotuses and columns. After Buddha Shakyamuni reached enlightenment he touched the earth with his hand and said "As earth is my witness. Seeing this morning star, all things and I awaken together." On top of his crown a second buddha of theravada tradition is situated on a lotus showing the Gesture of Teaching (Dharmachakra Mudra) with both hands in front of the breast, tips of the index finger and the thumps touching. This buddha is wearing an orange robe. He is depicted with the third eye.
