The truck bolster is of cast steel, with the center plates andside bearings cast integral with it. Reference to the drawingwill show that the center plate is placed the reverse of thatordinarily used. The truck of this design, for use under 50-toncars, will weigh approximately 1,690 lbs., including the bolster,which weighs 550 lbs. These trucks have been patented byMr. Symons and will be manufactured by the Pioneer CastSteel Truck Company of Chicago
