A fine large plum of the Oriental class, large as Kelsej^ more globular in shape and from five to six weeks earlier ; the flesh is solid, of a purplish crimson color from pit to skin, juicy and of fine quality ; pit exceedingly small—very little larger than a cherry stone; tree a strong, vigorous grower with a brownish-red bark and lanceolate \/ PRUXfS SiMONI. ?STveet Botaii.
