All persons within this Church shall celebrate and keep the LordsDay commonly called Sunday, by regular participation in the publicworship of the Church, by hearing the Word of God read and taughtand by other acts of devotion and works of charity, using all godlyand sober conversation. CANON 41, Section 1. OF REGULATIONS RESPECTING THE LAITY. Section 1. A communicant in good standing1 removing from oneparish or congregation to another shall be entitled to receive andshall procure from the Rector or Minister of the Parish or congre-gation of his or her last residence, or if there be no Rector or Min-ister, from one of the Wardens, a certificate stating that he or sheis duly registered or enrolled as communicant in the Parish or con-gregation from which he or she desires to be transferred, and theRector or Minister or Warden of the Parish or congregation towhich such communicant may remove shall
