The Regione Lombardia tower (161 m, 528 ft, 43 storey) see from the city park Biblioteca degli Alberi in a graysky before a thunderstorm, Milan, Italy

Piazza Lombardia is a covered square with an ogival plan of about 4000 square meters of walkable surface. The roof has a modular structure in efte, placed at a height of 32 meters above the floor. The space of the square can accommodate more than 3000 people and is often rented for events and shows. On the side of the square stands Palazzo Lombardia whose main tower is 161 meters high and is built in reinforced concrete, steel and glass. Here is the seat of the Regional Council of Lombardy with the presidency and the councillorships. The entire complex was built in 2007-2010 and is the work of the architect Ieoh Ming Pei (1917-2019).
