During the few days between the 20th and 23rd of November 2012, the southwest of England was hit by heavy rain, falling on saturated ground from the very wet spring and summer. The result was severe flooding, not seen for a long time. Shown here are the convergence of the Rivers Tone and Parrett, with flooding on Southlake Moor and Salt Moor (just visible).
