James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) image of the centre of the Serpens Nebula. This nebula is located around 1,300 light-years from Earth and contains a dense cluster of newly forming stars. Different coloured wisps represent light from these new stars. The bright orange seen top-left resulted from outflows from new stars colliding with gas and dust. Image captured by JWST's Near Infrared Camera (NIRCam).
