A power station in container allowing the recovering of biogas produced by fermentation of rubbish dump. Such a generator - the engine of which is gas-powered - is also equipped with a co-generation system (combined production of heat and power). The heat recovering allows that co-generation power station to get a 90 per cent global output or so. The rubbish dump biogas recovering is interesting for two reasons because of methane (CH4) which is a gas of a greenhouse effect much more powerful than carbon dioxide (CO2) produced by its combustion. Centrale électrique "conteneurisée" permettant de valoriser le biogaz produit par la fermentation des déchets enfouis en décharge. Ce groupe électrogène dont le moteur fonctionne au gaz est également équipé d'un système de cogénération (production combinée de chaleur et d’électricité). La récupération de chaleur permet à cette centrale de cogénération d'afficher un rendement global pouvant atteindre 90 %. La récupération du biogaz produit par les décharges est doublement intéressante car le méthane (CH4) libéré dans l’atmosphère est un gaz à effet de serre bien plus puissant que le dioxyde de carbone (CO2) produit par sa combustion.
