The fol-lowing extract from Catlins report gives an excellent idea of the rangeof cases in war practice: The cases usually met with consist, in the main, of retainedbullets and fractures, though a few cases of traumatic aneurism, peri-ostitis, necrosis of bone and the like, occur.
