White Manage-ment Corporation, New York, N. Y.,the operating managers of the Potts-ville properties. Mr. Hall succeeds Cairns, deceased. In 1907 he joinedthe organization of the Ohio ValleyElectric Railway, Huntington, W. became superintendent of theCanonsburg Electric Light, Heat &Power Company, Canonsburg, Pa., in1909, and following the purchase of thisutility in 1911 by the West Penn PowerCompany, Pittsburgh, Pa., he was ap-pointed local manager of that companyin charge of the Canonsburg Mr. Halls management thisproperty was entirely rebuilt and manyimprovements were made to the serv-ice. William Clough has resigned his po-sition as manager and engineer ofBury (England) Corporation Tramwaysin order to take up an important postwith a large firm of paper makers.
