He then began the active prac-tice of his profession with Dr. Reinhart , with whom he has been in partner-ship ever since. He has been in the profes-sion forty-three years, and during that timehas gained a reputation that is confined toneither town, township nor county. He is aman of ripe experience in all of the branchesof his profession, and he has always enjoyedthe highest esteem of his neighbors. Inpolitics he is a Republican, and in his earlieryears devoted some time and energy in aid-ing the success of his party, He has beena life long member of the Lutheran church,. /£ >6v7^y
