Fore wing hyaline, the veins, and margins rather narrowly, brown ; the base crimson ; a brown discoidal band conjoined to costal fascia ; the terminal band widening to apex and expanding widely at tornus ; two prominent crimson subapical spots. Hind wing with the ter- minal band expanding towards apex ; the inner area clothed with crimson scales, 5 with the ventral surface of abdomen brown. Hah. Exp. 22 millim. Proboscis well developed; palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reaching vertex of head, the 3rd moderate; antennre bipectir;ate, the branches dilated and ending in a bristle; tibire with the spurs moderate. Fore wing rather narrow ; vein 3 from near angle of cell; 4, 5 from angle ; 6 from u])per angle ; 7, 8, 9, 10 stalked ; 11 from cell.
