PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan. 6, 2017) An F/A-18C Hornet from the “Blue Blasters” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 34, performs a touch-and-go exercise on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is departing on a regularly-scheduled deployment to the western Pacific to conduct bilateral exercises in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
