161114-N-EO381-115 ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 14, 2016) Seaman Devan Plantamura, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94), loads ammunition into an M9 pistol magazine. Plantamura serves aboard Nitze as a sonar technician and is responsible for ship surveillance and operating sonar equipment. Nitze, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
