Multiple whaterwheels lift water from the lower level of the floodplain of the Xunjiang River to the raised and buttressed rice and vegetable fields. They line the river up and down from the famous Chengyang Qiao, the rain bridge tentatively listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.
