The affinities of this genus in the scries with finely giiiiui- lated eyes are evidently with Cyllene, l)ut there is an etpially i\ - dent cross allliiity in the direction of Elaphidion, Sphierion, v\r. Hiityle, associated with Stenosphenus by Lacordaire, lias ilit seutelliini acutely pointed, the hind legs elongated, the antennul tubercles more elevated, and the eyes more prominent.
