A baroque German game board,around 1720/30 A rectangular body folding in the middle with decorative walnut,mahogany,and fruitwood marquetry. Game surfaces for backgammon,Nine Men' Morris,and chess. The top and insides are finely decorated with engraved and partially blackened flowery vines. There is a spring-loaded iron latch on the front(latch plate replaced),with a closing button in the shape of an acorn. Minor edge replacements in places.
