Harvey and Associates, displays a fairy shrimp sample collected from a vernal pool at the Earth Day Nature Preserve Tour, Apr. 20, 2017, Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The event showcased the many natural environmental resources available to visit on the base. Fairy shrimp live in many of the vernal pools that occur when there is ample rain.
