Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK. 06th Nov, 2015. Police launch public appeal for information after a car rolled over on the busy M275 Motorway into Portsmouth. The driver had to be freed using specialist cutting equipment after his vehicle left the carriageway and hit a traffic sign. The vehicle struck a lamp post before doing a 360° turn, striking the road information sign. Fire crews from Cosham, Southsea and Redbridge attended the scene. Portsmouth Hampshire Saturday 7th November 2015 Police launch public appeal for information after a car rolled over on the busy M275 Motorway into Portsmouth. The driver had to be freed using specialist cutting equipment after his vehicle left the carriageway and hit a traffic sign. The vehicle struck a lamp post before doing a 360° turn, striking the road information sign. Fire crews from Cosham, Southsea and Redbridge attended the scene. Both Lanes of the M275 where closed and traffic diverted away from the area whilst the driver was freed. The driver, who was trapped for just over an hour, was cut from the vehicle and taken to hospital strapped to a spinal board. The seriousness of his injuries are not know at present. UKNIP
