Vulcanised Indian-Rubber.—This impor-tant invention, appliances for which are in-creasing daily, promises many advantageswhich could never be obtained by the employ-ment of caoutchouc in its natural state. It isprepared by dipping the material into a sul-phuric mixture, by which means its elasticity,strength, and durabilitj are increased to anunlimited extent.
