David Murray Gates, US physicist and ecologist
David Murray Gates (1921-2016), US physicist and ecologist. Gates studied physics at the University of Michigan, USA, receiving his doctorate in 1948. He is best known for developing the interdisciplinary field of biophysical ecology when researching plant-environment heat exchange.
