Into this central town and therefore,also, into this Central Hut poured the men of the Em-barkation Center. The hut occupied an old building which was at one time one of themany imposing chateaux of this section of Prance. All about the hutwithin easy reach of walking parties were the places notable not onlyin the historj^ of the city, but also which played a part in the historyof the country at large.
