Haworth churchyard in the snow with St Michael and All Angels to rear. The Bronte family lived in the parsonage from 1820 and all except Anne are buried in a family vault in the church. Charlotte Bronte married Mr Nicholls, the curate, in the church after two years opposition from her father; she died in 1855, nine months after their marriage.
