Montezuma Oropendola


Fairly common to common. Males in display give a series of loud slashing gurgling notes, the bird often leaning forward and sometimes doing a partial forward leaning somersault with wings drooped. Calls resemble those of the Chestnut-headed but are louder and even harsher.
