Spain, Zugarramurdi:: the Cave of the Witches, with its impressive karstic tunnels carved into the rock by the “Infernuko Erreka (Hell's stream). The tunnel is 12 metres high and has an average width of 30 metres along its entire length. The site became famous in the 17th century as the scene of Europe's most important witchcraft trial, during the Spanish Inquisition. In 2013, Alex de la Iglesia shot part of his film The Witches of Zugarramurdi on the site.
