Marine Corps Maj. Arlie Miller, a food service officer with Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, receives his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Bloch Arena, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Feb. 10, 2021. Miller voluntarily received the vaccination in an effort to increase unit readiness and ensure the safety of fellow service members and civilians. The COVID-19 vaccine is given in a two-dose series separated by three to four weeks.
