It has been decided by the Emperor that the library of the Louvre and the permanent Exposition should be placed in the transverse line of buildings joining the Pavilion, on the square of the Palais Royal, with that on the Place Napoleon

It has been decided by the Emperor that the library of the Louvre and the permanent Exposition should be placed in the transverse line of buildings joining the Pavilion, on the square of the Palais Royal, with that on the Place green inclosures, like our squares, have been laid are separated by a large esplanade, and surrounded by a pavement of granite.
