The composition stillshows traces of Chaldsean stiffness, and the exaggerateddrawing of the muscles produces an occasionally unpleas-ing heaviness of outline, but none the less the work asa whole constitutes one of the richest and most ingeniousschemes of decoration ever devised, which, while its colour-ing was still perfect, must have equalled in splendour thegreat triumphal battle-scenes at Ibsambul or Medinet-Habu.
