Deep butter-cup-yellow, each individual petal being heavily margined carmine-scarlet, the buds are long opening to large semi-double flowers, a strong grower and free flower- ing with strong fruity odor. $ each. Mary Pickford (Howard & Smith, 1926). A novel Rose of merit. In habit of growth, it is strong, vigorous. Color, an exquisite shade of orange-yellow, stained on the re- verse of the outer petals with salmon and salmon blush. $ each. Mrs. C. W. Edwards (McGredy, 1924). Rich rosy- scarlet overlaying an orange ground, the base of the petals prettily zoned citron-yellow which runs in faint veinings into the higher colors; a novel color combina- tion.
