Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and civilians from many nations compete in the Marine Corps Marathon Forward held here in Kabul, Afghanistan. The mile run commemorates the missions of those Servicemembers who have gone before and the mission that still remains in defense of freedom throughout the world.
