The general form of the outer walls is such as admits ofa picturesque outline in the elevation, and in the treatmentof the exterior finish the expenditure has been spread out insimple embellishments over the whole structure rather thanconcentrated upon an elaborate cornice. 134 OUR HOMES AND THEIR ADORNMENTS.
