Willey Glover Denis (1879-1929), US biochemist and physiologist Denis studied at Sophie Newcomb College (Tulane University), receiving her doctorate in 1907 from the University of Chicago. Her research career included work with Ann Stone Minot. In 1920, Denis returned to her home town and became a professor at Tulane University.
