We were getting off to a flyingstart when we came from behind and cap-tured our first match, played with Latrobeat Latrobe Park, five matches to four, afterwe were on the short end two to four in thesingles. Although we played hard in thesecond match, we did not have such goodluck, losing to Druid Hill seven matches totwo. In fairness, however, it should beremembered that six of the nine matchesplayed, one of which we won, went to threesets, and it was only after the hardest sortof struggle that we had to admit this match the presence of E. A. Rudy,who plays for the Maryland SwimmingClub, was a great asset, as he gave us oneof our two wins. The other win was tiumedin by G. H.
