A ceramic Chapicuaro 'Venus' figure from Mexico, is seen at Sotheby's auction house showroom in central London, Monday, Feb. 11, 2013. The pre-Columbian artifact is part of the Barbier-Mueller collection to be offered in the auction house Paris sale on March 22-23, 2013, and is estimated to fetch between 2-3 million British pounds. (some million US dollars, some million euros). Comprising around 300 works from Mexico, Central and South America this ensemble of pre-Hispanic art, comprises works in various media, including stone and wood sculptures, ceramics, textiles, as well as being representative of all the leading pre-Columbian cultures.
