The annual celebration mixing ancient Midwinter seasonal customs and contemporary fun,that see characters such as the Holy Man of the Thames who will bring the green man ,decked in green foliage resembling a tree,King Bean and Queen Pea,St George,and the mayor of Southwark Charlie Fun started at Shakespeare's Globe Theater,and finished at the George Inn in High St Borough ,with plenty of cheer, and a good time ,for all those who attended@Paul Quezada-Neiman/Alamy Live News
