[Contributed by Luella C IIolzapfel, Oklahoma City, Okla.] Materials : Two spools Barbours Irish flax lace thread, No. 250,2-cord, 200-yards spools (or No. 150, if preferred), 36 yards plainpoint lace braid, and 5 yards Ladys Corsage Collar. Follow directions given in No. 6 for basting braid, etc. In themodel, the fan lace-stitch is used as a ground-work, but this mayvery effectively be chosen as a filling-in stitch for the design, theground-work being more open. The collar fastens on left shoulder,the points reaching the waist-line at front and back, and the squaretabs falling over the shoulders. 92 barbours prize needle-work series.
