The newly restored Victorian seafront bandstand at Brighton, Sussex. The ornate bandstand built in 1884 and weighing 23 tonnes was last used regularly in the 1950s and has been restored at a cost of £950 000 by Brighton and Hove City Council in 2008-2009. The bandstand will now be used regularly by various bands and choirs throughout the summer.
